[This morning was just like any other day for Yui. Wake up, freshen up, take a warm shower and get ready to head for work at the bakery. After her shower, while she was putting up her hair, she paused, noticing something in the mirror.

Was that...she finishes putting up her hair and then moves over to her journal.]

[Voice]

Um, does anyone else have bar codes on the back of their neck...? I just noticed it this morning, but I wasn't sure if that's normal...

[Did I mention she was just wearing a towel when she asked that? Silly girl. She ponders on that thought for a moment, but then remembers she was getting ready for work and will leave momentarily.

She'll be working at the bakery today, trying different things Regal had baked and even trying her hands on some baking herself which...doesn't really go quite as smoothly. People can probably see her tending up front inbetween all of this. Once she's finished her work at the bakery, she'll be returning back to the apartment to relax and then send a message to Madoka]

[Voice to Madoka]

Madoka-chan, I have all the supplies and books so we could trying making some simple plushies. Do you want to come over later tonight? I bought home some snacks from the bakery we can eat too.

[We are totally going to have a girl's night.]

Hehe, then I bet you would be worth a lot too. Though I wonder what they're really for. Just to track us or...maybe there's other information on them.

[bamfing]

Well... last year there was this thing where a bunch of people were kidnapped and Mr. Catherine arranged a rescue for them. Those who were getting kidnapped had to go see that guy living in the tunnels so he could do something to their barcodes. It made it so they would still be awake when the lab was infiltrated. So they must do something more than just track us.

[bigsiskonagi]

Stay awake...? Do you think, when we're taken to be...experimented, that the barcodes might do something where we can't really remember what happened when we come back? A lot of people I've talked to say they can't really...

[...she blinks] Wagner-san, your eyes...did they do that?

[bamfing]

[... ah, of course. The eyes. Using the journal and sunglasses at the same time was kind of a challenge, but...]

Yeah. They did.

[bigsiskonagi]

You're okay, though, right? It's not effecting your sight is it?

[bamfing]

Not in a bad way, no.

[bigsiskonagi]

Oh, that's good to hear. [...and then a thought crossed her mind.]

I wonder if the barcodes have anything to do with what happens to us when we're experimented on. Like how you said it can put us to sleep. Maybe they change codes to give us these effects?

[bamfing]

I... guess that could make sense. Especially during experiments...

[bigsiskonagi]

Maybe? It could be something or...I could just be over-thinking this.

[bamfing]

Well you can't solve all the mysteries of the Malnosso in one day, yeah?

[bigsiskonagi]

There's too many mysteries to solve with this place. And even more mysteries in those mysteries.

[Ahh, this is her making her head hurt a little just thinking about it.]

[bamfing]

[He's feeling that and laughs.]

Maybe you should leave some of them for later then.
