[This morning was just like any other day for Yui. Wake up, freshen up, take a warm shower and get ready to head for work at the bakery. After her shower, while she was putting up her hair, she paused, noticing something in the mirror.

Was that...she finishes putting up her hair and then moves over to her journal.]

[Voice]

Um, does anyone else have bar codes on the back of their neck...? I just noticed it this morning, but I wasn't sure if that's normal...

[Did I mention she was just wearing a towel when she asked that? Silly girl. She ponders on that thought for a moment, but then remembers she was getting ready for work and will leave momentarily.

She'll be working at the bakery today, trying different things Regal had baked and even trying her hands on some baking herself which...doesn't really go quite as smoothly. People can probably see her tending up front inbetween all of this. Once she's finished her work at the bakery, she'll be returning back to the apartment to relax and then send a message to Madoka]

[Voice to Madoka]

Madoka-chan, I have all the supplies and books so we could trying making some simple plushies. Do you want to come over later tonight? I bought home some snacks from the bakery we can eat too.

[We are totally going to have a girl's night.]

... To be honest, I wouldn't put it past them. I mean, look at everything else they put us through.

Hm, you're right...they can give us wings so I guess having a barcode isn't that weird. Although I feel like I'm a product you buy in a shop.

[which is so weird to Sora, considering everything one might consider a product in Luceti is free.]

Well, I don't think the Malnosso want to sell us, but back home the things we bought had barcodes on them. They have prices on them when they're scanned.

... Maybe we do just have them so the Malnosso can keep track of us. It's too weird to try to think of any other reason.

[A pause] I don't think we've spoken with each other before. My name's Yui.

I think you're right... Nice to meet you, Yui! My name's Sora.

You've been here long?

It's nice to meet you too!

And I think I've been here...for almost five months now. [A pause, and then a question that was mostly directed to herself.]

Has it really been that long already...?

[... there's a gentle smile on his end. in his voice.]

Time has a habit of passing way too fast, I think. It doesn't even feel like I've been here since January.

You've already been here for that long? [...she frowns.]

I guess so much has happened here, that we forget how long we've been here.

It's almost nonstop, isn't it? It's easy to lose track of time if you don't at least count the days.

[Roxas is better at keeping track of the days than Sora is, anyhow-- and thinking back on January now is a little unsettling. the experiments and fighting all blur together in his mind.]

I don't think I could count the days. I'd just get anxious, wondering when I'll be able to go home.

I know how you feel. It's been a long time since I last saw home, though.
